[Announce] Gitter Discussion Channel

Hi all,

As we're finding ourselves more and more distant from each other
socially it's up to us to figure out how to bridge that distance
virtually. One way that seems to help is via text-based chat systems.

We've been using a system called Gitter for these online chats.
One nice feature of this is there's an IRC component for this without
any special software.
