[Announce] Fwd: Topics Board in Trello

Hi All,

Just a quick reminder that we're beta-testing a new method for tracking 
topics that folks have
suggested.

Previously we've used a Google Docs Spreadsheet (that nobody could see)
and our failing memories to track the topic suggestions from the
comment cards. Rather than keep all of these goodies to ourselves (or
worse: allow us to forget all of these suggestions) we decided to try
something new.

We've put the topics in a Trello board. Trello is a Kanban-style service
that we can use to track each of the topic proposals.

One of the things it allows is voting. If you have a Trello account you
may vote on a topic that you would like to see. You may also comment on
a topic if you know someone who would be willing to speak on that topic.

Unfortunately there isn't a great way to allow folks to create topics
without paying $$ for a subscription, but we've included a card under
the "Suggest New Topics" column that you may add topic suggestions.

Please feel free to play with this and let us know if you run into
problems. Hopefully it'll make our talk selection process more
transparent and allow you to participate in what topics we present at
future MUG meetings.
